By Ishaq Bilal

The Management of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria has denied the claims made by the Director-General of Kaduna State Urban Planning and Development Authority (KASUPDA), Isma’il Umaru-Dikko accusing the University of selling to individuals about 80 hectares of land belonging to its College of Agriculture and Animal Science at Mando, in Kaduna metropolis.
The denial was made in a Press Statement issued by the University today stating that the allegation made by the Director of KASUPDA is totally false and unfounded.
The statement however reads in part that “Ahmadu Bello University, has never sold its land to anybody, be it individual or corporate organization; and it will never do so”
Further stating that the College has it Ownership Certificate of its land as well as its Survey Site Plan that shows the entire boundaries of the land belonging to the College however strongly warns that no amount of blackmail from KASUPDA will make ABU to allow its own land to be illegally grabbed for allocation to associates and other unpatriotic individuals thereby also warns the Director to desist from engaging in such spurious and shameless lies.
