National Association of Political Science Students(NAPSS) held its presidential election today, 10th of August, 2023 where Mohammed Ayuba, a 300L student of political science emerged as the department's president, defeating his opponent Comrade David Sarki with 121 votes.
According to election results, Comrade Ayuba got 198 votes placing him above his counterpart who got 77 votes.
In an interview with A.B.U Campus Press(A.C.P), the president-elect expressed joy and heartfelt appreciation to students of his department who came out in their masses to cast their votes democratically.
He said: "Being a former secretary general, we are going to provide website platform where relevant materials will be uploaded, enhance learning environment as well as an entrepreneurship programme for students"
He assured the students that his administration would facilitate a smooth learning process and environment, and make available tutorials platform for proper learning.
He congratulated other contestants that emerged winners of
their respective official posts.
