The Faculty of Education has been plunged into crisis following the suspension of the President over allegations of misusing funds meant for complete renovation of the faculty toilet.

The suspension has resulted in a power struggle, with the executive council electing Comr. Olatunji Kehinde (Kelly Rugged) as acting president, while the Senate has nominated Amb. Kabir Sani (Dagachi) for the same position.

The allegations against the suspended president center on financial misconduct, raising concerns about accountability and transparency within the faculty. The situation has raised questions about the governance structure and decision-making processes at the Faculty of Education.

The elected acting president, Comr. Olatunji Kehinde has vowed to carry everyone along without any iota of sentiment in any form, and assured that the trust placed in him will not be jeopardize for anything. Meanwhile, the Senate-nominated acting president Amb. Kabir Sani  promised to serve with humility, transparency and fairness during this period.
