Rufai who hosted the event, acknowledged prevalent mistrust and misconceptions about cryptocurrency among Nigerian youth and stated, "This is one of the reasons Solana Allstars has embarked on the mission of impacting knowledge and creating awareness about crypto and blockchain technology in youths around the world."

Following the engaging icebreaker, Raji Rufai handed the stage to the Country Manager, Victor Simdope, who expressed his excitement about being in Kaduna State (Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria) and articulated the mission of their organization, Solana Cryptocurrency.

"The major aim of Solana is to empower and impact lives positively. We want to take a billion people into the Crypto World for financial breakthrough and digital Life changing opportunities," he said.

The event took a significant turn as the SRC President of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Abdullahi Aminu Abdukrazak, a.k.a "Coache," and the Chief of Staff were warmly welcomed. Coache expressed his joy at being present, advising students to be attentive and absorb the valuable information shared.

Admitting limited knowledge about cryptocurrency, the president aimed to learn more, emphasizing its potential as a great future job opportunity. He encouraged students to attentively absorb the organizers' insights.

He commended the event organizers and encouraged students to attend the upcoming Freshers Event. As a gesture of generosity, the SRC President and his entourage distributed free tickets of the eagerly anticipated event to some participants of the Solana event at the venue.

One of the lead Ambassadors of Solana in Zaria, Bolarinwa Mubarak (a.k.a Bola Crypto), a cryptocurrency advocate and event organizer, delivered a lecture on blockchain, tokens, and coins.

Bola advised the participants to do their self-research into the Crypto world and to be financially buoyant before signing or subscribing to the Crypto project.

"Do your own research before going into Crypto, and if you don't have money to lose, don't go into Crypto. That's my candid advice for you," he said.

In his lecture, one of the Ambassadors of Solana, Musa Muhammad (a.k.a, Msquare) taught the participants the features of Web 1, 2, and 3 spaces with the Internet's evolution. He described Web One to be a one-way flow of information, Web Two with a two-way flow but full of control of internet providers, while he said Web Three is out to decentralize internet activities and give people opportunities to earn.

"Web one doesn't give us Opportunity to contribute or express ourselves, while Web two gives us the privilege to make comments and posts on Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, and all the social media you could think of. However, the control of owners on the activities of these platforms called for a Web three that brings decentralized operations on the internet world," Musa said.

Some of the participants who spoke to ABU Campus Press, Muhammad Bilkisu Abdullahi, Mustapha Aminu, Isah Fatima, Yusuf Aliyu, and others, expressed their satisfaction with the activities of the event.

They acknowledged the positive impact the event has added to their understanding of Cryptocurrency and the controversies surrounding the Crypto World generally.

The participants also appreciated the Management, Organizers, and Ambassadors of Solana Coin for the great opportunity given to them to receive such invaluable knowledge and gifts.

The Solar All-Star Event proved to be a dynamic and knowledge-packed occasion, leaving attendees inspired and equipped with valuable insights into cryptocurrency and the ever-evolving digital landscape.

Attendees received tokens and Solana coins as encouragement for increased participation in cryptocurrency and the Solana blockchain platform. The engaged and receptive audience left organizers satisfied, promising more learning opportunities, experiencing, and gaining inspiration in future meetups. This is one of the reasons Solana All Stars has embarked on the mission of imparting knowledge and creating awareness about crypto and blockchain technology.

The coin was said to have been named after a small Southern Californian coastal city in the United States. Solana is the brainchild of software developer Anatoly Yakovenko. Yakovenko first proposed this innovative blockchain in 2017, and Solana launched the brand on the 29th of March 2020.
