The final year students of the Department of Curriculum and Foundation at ABU Zaria, are in mourning following the sudden death of Emmanuel Monday, a 400-level student from the Department of Curriculum and Foundation, Adult Education Section, of the Faculty of Education, on February 12, 2025.

Reports indicate that Emmanuel had attended his teaching practice earlier in the day and returned complaining of a headache. Tragically, just a few hours later, he was reported dead, leaving his family, friends, and the entire university community in shock and grief.

The Students' Representative Council (SRC) of ABU has sent their heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased, and we at ABU Campus Press also extend our deepest sympathies to his loved ones during this difficult time.

Emmanuel's passing is a reminder that death is inevitable and that we should cherish every moment with our loved ones. We pray that his family finds comfort and the fortitude to bear this loss.
