Calling on the active participation of the youth in the venture of taking the country to her promise land, the discussion took a new turn as to how determined are the youth in the face of corruption and the required morals as stated by Jonathan Abhulimen and also how possible does it seems for the youth to take over the governance of the country when the price tag placed by INEC on public office forms makes the venture not possible for the youths.
Also commenting on the issue, Alhaji Jibril Sani Gambo, a former contestant for the position of councilor in Hanwa Zone in Zaria under the All Progressive Congress (APC) and also the campaign coordinator for Hon. Faisal Abbas who is now a member of the House of Assembly said that they youth have to change the way they are being used in the country. Stating that there is need to change from being used as thugs during elections, to actively participate in politics for the betterment of the county.

  1. This what we agitate for but are our so called leaders willing to listen to our pleas? Taking it to them will only lead to us harming ourselves at the long run. Take the bull by the horns? For now, I guess not but let the insecurities ravaging the nation be curtailed before that can sprang up.
