THAT BLACK CONTINENT

 By ZzPen

One could hear the loud laughter of children

As our mothers taught us to pray

To become strong women like them

Father taught us to hunt down

Like the legendary king of the jungle.

Tree climbing, Arrow shooting

Were the best games we enrolls

We were strong, bold and beautiful people

And that was enough for us

.

Boom! Boom!! Boom!!!

Went the strange loud bang

Like the giants that we are

We stood strong but still had our fears

That unfriendly terrible sound

Soon turned a daily soundtrack

We were always ready to run

Turned nomads in our own land

Those trees and caves we loved so much

Were no longer playgrounds

But turned haven
