The Kaduna State Student Union (KADSUU) at ABU Zaria inaugurated its newly appointed executive council members into office on January 14, 2024, which signified a key moment for the student body. The new EXCOs is set to drive the student union through the 2024/2025 administration.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by prominent leaders like Isa Ahmad Kwarmazan Zazzau, Barr. Umar Musa, and Amb. Umar Bala Babayaro from Kaduna Social Media Connect. Dr. Isa Abdullahi Yakubu, and his Assistant Team lead, Gideon. Their attendance reflected the importance of student leadership and a commitment to supporting student’s union.
In the course of the event, Mallam Isa Abbas Ahmad shared some insightful advice to the newly inaugurated Executive Council members as he reflected on his own experiences as a former KADSUU executive. Barr. Umar Musa also followed on this note, his speech offered guidance stressing the need for fear of Allah in their decision-making processes.
The newly elected president, Sadiq M. Bello, delivered a remarkable speech; one that outlined his vision for the student union. In their inaugural addresses, the newly elected executives collectively pledged to work faithfully and diligently to promote the welfare and interests of the students and the union.
With the inauguration of the newly elected EXCOs, KADSUU is headed for a new chapter of growth, innovation and student empowerment. This new chapter does promises an exciting journey and leadership for the kaduna state body.
